ABOUT US:

• The newly inaugurated Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (M), Bokajan court building is situated at Bokajan industrial town, which is best known for Cement Factory and it is 15 KMs away from Dimapur, Nagaland.
• The Bokajan sub-divisional area covers an area of 10,434 sq. km sharing borders with Golaghat and Nagaon district and also with the state of Nagaland on its northern side. Earlier the people of this sub-division had to travel a long distance to Diphu, district head quarter of Karbi Anglong district which is even 60 kms away from Bokajan town, for redressal of their grievances, which was rather time consuming and troublesome affair. Now a separate and independent judiciary at the sub- divisional level has ushered a new hope among the people of the Sub-Division in ensuring easy access to justice delivery system.
• On 7th September, 2019, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Mir Alfaj Ali, Gauhati High Court inaugurated the courts of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (M) and Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Bokajan.
• Mr. Devojyoti Bhuyan, AJS was appointed as the 1st Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (M) and Mr. Navneet Kashyap, AJS as the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class of Bokajan.
